February 8, 2017 – Public Comment Period for Medicaid Long-term Care Waiver Amendment
The State of Florida is seeking federal authority to amend the Medicaid 1915(b)(c) Long-term Care Waiver to make the following updates:
- Update the definition for the following waiver services
- Update fair hearing information.
- Update the Medicaid Director contact information.
- Update the waiver’s unduplicated enrollee count and related waiver cost projections.
- Attendant Care
- Respite
- Intermittent and Skilled Nursing
Public Notice and Public Comment: February 8, 2017 - March 10, 2017
The Agency is holding a 30-day public notice and comment period prior to the submission of the waiver amendment to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The Agency will consider all public comments received regarding the proposed waiver amendment.
