Federal Authorities
The Federal Authorities Unit is responsible for the development, submission and federal approval of all waivers and amendments authorized under Section 1115, 1915(b), 1915(c) of the Social Security Act and the State Plan for the operation of the Title XIX Medicaid programs. In addition, the Federal Authorities Section is responsible for effective coordination and communication with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on all waivers and State Plan Amendments.
