The Room and Board rate for Florida Hospices receiving Medicaid reimbursement is calculated from recipients’ nursing home stays during the reporting period July 1 - June 30 of each year. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet is provided to capture this data electronically. Also, a listing of valid nursing home provider numbers is supplied to ensure accuracy.
