Integumentary Services
Medicaid reimburses for integumentary services to provide diagnostic and therapeutic procedures relating to disorders of the skin and associated structures.
Medicaid reimburses for integumentary services including:
- Active wound care management
- Dermatological procedures
- Integumentary surgical services including:
- Breast reconstruction
- Gynecomastia surgery for post-pubescent male recipients, under the age of 21 years who have undergone conservative treatment for at least three to six months prior to the request for surgery
- Reduction mammoplasty
This service is one of the minimum covered services for all Managed Medical Assistance plans serving Medicaid enrollees.

Florida Medicaid recipients requiring medically necessary integumentary services.
